With the fall craft show season fastly approaching I have been working hard to get things ready and try to stay ahead of the game!! I have completed block sets, painted frames for magnet boards, created some new frames, made necklaces and stocked up with all of my supplies.

Here is some of the new things I have completed:

New frames now available, I have family, friends, and home ones. I am in LOVE with this new style!!

New blocks made with actual books!! I have 2 of this set, and then a fun Pokey Little Puppy set!

I have been crazy busy the last few weeks in preperation for hosting Easter, throwing birthday parties, field trips, soccer practices and games, and preparing for my upcoming show!

I was sitting around one night, and suddenly this great idea came to me! So I did a little messing around and came up with these GREAT new frames!!

These new frames are available in a variety of colors, each with a unique look! They are $7 each, and can be custom ordered as well.

Here is also another recipe box that will be available this Saturday at Lakewood Elementary Craft Show. It is from 9-3pm! Anyone local, I look forward to either meeting you for the first time or seeing you again!!

Recipe boxes are again $15 and great for a wedding shower gift for the bride-to-be in your life!! Better yet, match it with a recipe clothes pin for the perfect gift!

New Projects

Hi all!! Sorry it has been so long!! I have been really busy filling orders and making new orders!

I have just started a new partnership with Laura Veldholf Designs! She is a wonderful mother, photographer, and graphic designer. I am so excited to be partnering with her and together we have combined our great ideas to come up with some great new things! Laura will be exclusively offering her customers some of my items!

I promise to show them off as soon as she takes some AWESOME photos for me!

Also just wanted to let everyone know that I will be at the Lakewood Elementary Craft Show on April 30th, from 9-3pm. I am also planning to do a spring open house sometime in May! Hope you are all finding spring popping up all around you! (Not quite there yet here!)

A Place to Sit

In the last few weeks I have been on the hunt for some new items to add...I have some on my list that I just haven't got to yet, but here is one that I just had to get to! Tile coasters...this is a set of 5 coasters, each with a fun coordinating print. They have also been sealed with a waterproof sealer.

I just love how they turned out, so bring and colorful. A perfect housewarming gift, wedding shower or wedding gift or even a birthday gift! These could be made to match a decor as well. I have these sets ready made to be taken home or given as a gift. Each set is only $10.

As I am sure that some of you know the holiday season is fastly approaching and that means holiday SHOPPING!! I love to shop and even more then shopping I love to get gifts for others. I feel I have been very blessed in my life and just like to let people know how thankful I am for them in my life!

With that being said I have been working on orders and getting them out as fast as I can! Bummer part...can't share too many photos since they are gifts! Here is one I just completed:

This is a custom order typewriter charm bracelet. One color is grandchildren the other great-grandchildren.

Beneath the Tree

Just wanted to send out a reminder that I will be participating in Beneath the Tree again this year. It is a great show to attend and get a head start on your Christmas shopping. The houses are always so beautifully decorated, and I got lots of ideas last year.

Also don't forget to get your orders for Christmas. After this week I will be hosting some weekly specials as well. Hoping to get a couple more ideas out before Christmas too.

Just a quick post to say thank you to all my wonderful fans and friends that came out to see me yesterday at Zeeland Christian Fall Craft Festival. It was a great turn out and made for a fun day to see some friendly faces and meet some new ones!

I am looking forward to working on stocking up for my next show that is coming up on Nov. 13th at Harderwyk Reformed Church.

A crafty friend recently asked me to come up with a sign for her to hang in a local store that carries her AWESOME clothes! (Pixie Dust Designs) After some thinking I put my creative skills to use and came up with this sign.

It not only has their name on it, but the cute clothes pins on the bottom offer them a variety of options from hanging clothing samples, to photos of her clothing, or business cards! I love its functional use, while it is still cute! I already have a second order from her so she has one for craft shows and I am making one for myself, only I think I may use some different colors on mine.

A few months back I decided to start adding magnets to my items and just loved how they turned out! Only problem with that is when I was at a craft show how was I going to display all these magnets?? Then it came to me, why not make a large magnet board to put on display? So out I went to get my supplies and got started. I just LOVE how mine turned out and a friend encouraged me to start making them to sell. So after months of just plain procrastinating here they are...

I am always looking for magnets to hold up the pictures, notes, cards, and artwork that comes to our house. I also like fun and cute ones, so in my many trials and shared ideas someone suggested that I give them a try, so I did! Here is what I came up with!! I LOVE them and use them on my magnet wall to hold up all of our fun things!

There 3 different types of magnets, as well as a photo magnet option. The 2 circle magnets come in 2" and 1.5". The photo magnets are made on the 2" circle. I also have some rectangle ones as well.

I had a great time on Saturday at the craft show. It was nice to be able to share my new product as well as see some old friends and meet new ones!

These are my new photo holders! I love them, they can hold two pics and are 5 inches tall. They can be made to stand alone or to match an exsisting set of blocks! I have a few ideas up my sleeve with these thanks to my hubby. Hopefully I will get those posted soon.

I know this isn't really new, but it is kinda...I made this for my best friend. It is her and her husbands initials. Isn't it sweet?? I am working on a fun kids one as well.

Some friends of ours have recently started going to church and are having their daughters, 9,11, and almost 13 baptized. They aren't doing anything special after, but I wanted to give them something as they are welcomed into God's loving family. I made them each a necklace with their inital on them. I really love how they turned out!

I have recently found some bigger blocks! They are so cute and I LOVE them. I have decided to add them to my stock. The blocks are a 2" block and will be $4 each, $20 for 6, or $40 for 13. I am so excited to be adding these and am also hoping to add some more new products to my stuff as well.

The colors on this set didn't turn out well. They are orange, yellow and navy.

It's That Time of Year

Well as things continue to get busier and stay that way I wanted to let everyone one know that I will be taking orders until Friday December 18, after that all orders will not be completed until after the new year. My family and I are preparing for some family Christmas parties this weekend and then on the 23rd are heading south!! We won't return til the 4th. Thank you for understanding. If you care to place an order during that time you are welcome to do so, just know that I will more than likely not get back to you until the 4th or 5th of January.

I saw these on another blog I follow and just LOVED them! So I decided to give them a try and put my own touch to them.

They hold photos! So cute and festive! I have so many ideas in my head for these.....oh the possibilities!!

I was talking with a friend today and thought that it would be a good idea to post some ideas of what you can do with these blocks!!

1. Practicing spelling! Either a child's name or common words.
2. Matching lower case & upper case letters.
3. Just to play with, who doesn't like building towers and knocking them down!
4. Decoration for a nursery. (These can say a name or just have a matching print)
5. General Decoration, I saw something very similar in Better Homes & Gardens.
6. Learning the alphabet.
7. Monograms
8. Spelling out inspiring words (Hope, joy, love, etc.)
9. Displaying a last name. (I am working on a set for myself right now!!)

There a many other possibilities for these blocks it just takes some imagination and creativity. Do you have an idea you would like to share? Please feel free to post it in the comments section.
